Notes on Electrical and Electronic Equipment (ElektroG)

Electrical and electronic equipment (laptops, printers, PCs, monitors, TV ...) should not be treated as household waste. You can make as a consumer, your electrical equipment free of charge at a municipal collection points.

Return of batteries according § 12 der Batterieverordnung (BattV)

We are loud battery legislation (BattV) obliged to inform you of the following statutory provisions for the return and disposal of batteries and accumulators. You are obliged as a consumer, used batteries to a distributor or by the public waste management authorities for return set up collection points free of charge. The disposal of domestic waste is prohibited. Contaminated batteries and accumulators are marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Among these is the name of the contained heavy metals: Cd represents cadmium, Hg for mercury and Pb for lead. If you have received from us or rechargeable batteries, you can of course use to send back to us.

Chemical symbols:

  • Cd: enthält mehr als 0,002 Prozent Cadmium
  • Hg: enthält mehr als 0,0005 Prozent Quecksilber
  • Pb: enthält mehr als 0,004 Prozent Blei
